ICDO is pleased to have partnered with the National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD) and the European Organization for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS) for Rare Disease Day 2010.
This annual global event is designed to raise awareness of rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives, and reinforce their importance as a public health priority. In celebration of this year’s theme, “Bridging Patients and Researchers,” ICDO launched video footage from the 2009 International Castleman’s Disease Summit so that patients, caregivers and the medical community across the world could benefit from the information presented by our esteemed panel of speakers. In addition, ICDO hosted a live online event on February 28, entitled, “Castleman’s Disease Patients and Researchers . . .
