Anemia and Abdominal Pain
CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS AND HISTORY:
The patient is a 20 year old female with a history of abdominal pain and mild anemia for the last two years. She was admitted for evaluation of a large left adrenal mass noted on a computed tomography scan. Apart from a mild normocytic anemia and abdominal pain, laboratory values and physical examination were within normal limits on admission. A left adrenalectomy with removal of periadrenal adipose tissue was performed.
